The bands, bird bags, and scales hang from a clever PVC framelike structure on three sides of the pickup truck bed. It assembles and knocks down for storage in a few minutes. Marty is banding a Willow Flycatcher if I remember correctly.

...is running the show while Walt is up north at bird banding camp with CJ et al. The thing in his mouth is a Swiss Army toothpick that he uses to aid in extricating heavily tangled up birds. He whips it out from the SA knife on his belt in a split second without looking.

Having been stung an hour before by an angry swarm of wasps at least fifty times on her face, hands, and mostly on her back, Kay is in a LOT of pain, that's why her face and little finger is so red. We convinced her to stay at least a half hour instead of going home by herself, in case she devloped a bad allergic reaction.  She ended up staying most of the afternoon.
